Position Description: We are looking for competent event coordinator to plan and organize events that will make an impact to a targeted audience ultimately driving demand generation for the revenue team. Events will include trade shows, user group meetings, webinars, and other programs. This position will manage all pre- and post-event activities as well as activities taking place during the event. An event coordinator is ultimately a project manager who understands marketing and promotional techniques. We want enthusiastic candidates with creative ideas and the organizational skills to effectively implement all types of events.


  • Plan event from start to finish, working with key stakeholders to develop strategy and tactical components
  • Coordinate all events including user group meetings, trade shows, webinars, and other events
  • Implement all tactical initiatives including sponsorships, exhibits, speaking opportunities, conference materials, and pre- and post-event communication including email and direct
  • Order and implement all trade show services and logistics
  • Present suggestions to enhance the event success
  • Work with department leadership to develop event budget and manage budget logistics to ensure adherence
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
  • Coordinate all operations and logistics
  • Lead all promotional activities for the event including pre- and post-show activities
  • Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
  • Post-event, debrief with key stakeholders and analyze event metrics to determine successes and opportunities for improvement


  • BS degree in marketing or a related field
  • 2-3 years coordinating trade shows, events, and virtual events
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Team player with a customer service and problem-solving orientation
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Ability to set up exhibit properties
